The Matriots is a nonpartisan Ohio political action committee founded in 2017 by women who marched in the Women's March on Washington. The organization recruits, endorses, and supports women running for office across Ohio, with the goal of achieving equal representation in the state's elected offices.

Founded in 2006, VoteVets is the nation's largest and longest-running organization for progressive and Democratic veterans, military families, and their supporters, with more than 1.5 million backers nationwide. Through hard-hitting ads, advocacy, and independent spending, VoteVets has helped elect veteran candidates who fight for national security, veterans' care, and the wellbeing of those who served.

Mental Health Now is an initiative of Inseparable Action that works to put mental health at the center of policymaking. Since 2022, nearly 1,800 candidates and elected officials nationwide have signed its Statement of Support, committing to expand access to care, strengthen crisis response, and support mental health services for youth and the broader workforce.

Moms Demand Action began the day after the Sandy Hook tragedy in 2012, when founder Shannon Watts started a Facebook group calling on Americans to act on gun violence. It has since grown into a nationwide grassroots movement with chapters in every state, working to pass stronger gun laws and build a culture of responsible gun ownership. It's part of Everytown for Gun Safety, the country's largest gun violence prevention organization.

OCSEA, AFSCME Local 11, represents approximately 27,000 public employees across Ohio's state and local government. The union fights for job security, fair wages and benefits, and respect for the public servants who keep Ohio's communities running.

OFT is a statewide union representing 20,000 members across 55 locals, including public school educators and support staff, higher education faculty and staff, and public employees. As the Ohio affiliate of the American Federation of Teachers, OFT advocates for sound public education policy, professionalism for educators, and excellence in public service.
